Role Summary

The head office finance team is looking for an experienced and highly detail-focused Financial Controller / Financial Reporting Specialist. This position centers on management reporting, financial analysis, advanced Excel-based modelling, and supporting decision-making. Experience in contracting or construction environments is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise and punctual financial reports for management use.
• Create, improve, and manage reporting templates, dashboards, and financial frameworks.
• Analyze financial data and translate findings into practical business insights.
• Extract and interpret data from ERP platforms such as Oracle or comparable systems.
• Design and maintain Excel-based financial models to assist forecasting and strategic planning.
• Check models and assumptions to confirm they are accurate and internally consistent.
• Maintain adherence to accounting standards and sound reporting practices.
• Work closely with teams across the business to strengthen reporting quality and financial transparency.
• Contribute to the automation and upgrading of reporting workflows, including data-driven and AI-assisted reporting tools where relevant.
• Assist with audits and support compliance with internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in finance, financial reporting, or controlling functions.
• Proven strength in financial analysis and management reporting.
• Advanced Excel capability and strong financial modelling skills are essential.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with data extraction and reporting tools.
