About the Company
Robotic Imaging is a technology firm based in the United States that focuses on changing the way buildings and facilities are captured, documented, and analyzed. The company supports clients across the US with accurate reporting for facilities and equipment using 3D laser scanning, virtual reality, and AI-powered automation. Its offices in Dubai and Pakistan function as the operational hub supporting these US projects from end to end.
Role Overview
The company is looking for a Facilities Operations Manager to work from the Dubai office. This is a practical, leadership-focused position for someone who understands building systems as integrated operations and can oversee the prioritization and quality of facilities reporting. The role includes leading a 50-member production team in Pakistan while staying closely aligned with US-based teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in sync with US teams to clarify project priorities, deadlines, and delivery expectations.
- Convert those priorities into clear instructions for the production team in Pakistan and manage workload distribution across active US assignments.
- Use the internal software platform to update and maintain production priorities so they stay aligned with client needs.
- Act as the technical point of contact for building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and other infrastructure components, to support accurate reporting.
- Analyze equipment details such as HVAC model and serial numbers to support the preparation of detailed facilities and equipment reports.
- Assess site conditions and building systems remotely through virtual reality walkthroughs.
- Review construction and building drawings to verify information collected from the field.
- Coordinate with US field teams to close information gaps, such as missing photos, incomplete VR captures, or other documentation issues.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of building systems and the maintenance needs of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in facilities management.
- Background in managing teams or leading people.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and building drawings.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu for drawing review and markup.
- Comfort using computers, software tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Willingness and ability to take part in regular virtual meetings across multiple time zones.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to US facilities, client expectations, or standards is an advantage.
- Experience with VR-based inspections or reality-capture tools is a plus.
Work Details
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Dubai at IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis. The position oversees a 50-person team in Pakistan and requires close coordination with US teams to manage priorities and output.
