Role overview
We are looking for a seasoned Executive Recruiter to drive leadership hiring across the organization. In this remote contract position, you will focus on attracting, assessing, and securing Director- and Vice President-level talent while working closely with senior leaders to support strategic workforce needs.
Key responsibilities
- Run end-to-end recruitment for Director and VP-level positions, using both internal and external talent channels.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to clarify business priorities and build candidate profiles.
- Create and implement focused sourcing plans to develop strong and diverse pipelines for roles that are difficult to fill.
- Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for role fit and alignment with business objectives.
- Share qualified candidates with leadership and provide informed recommendations.
- Manage the offer stage, including negotiations and relocation support where required.
- Build trusted working relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the business.
- Keep up to date with compensation practices, benefits trends, and HR policies that affect hiring decisions.
- Guide and support other recruiters with sourcing methods, talent campaigns, and attraction initiatives.
- Help improve enterprise-wide talent acquisition practices, processes, and recruiting standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a similar discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in recruiting within staffing or corporate HR environments.
- Direct experience hiring for senior leadership positions at Director and Vice President levels.
- Strong capability in building executive-level recruitment and sourcing strategies.
- Experience advising executive hiring managers and stakeholders as a talent partner.
- Hands-on use of Applicant Tracking Systems and advanced sourcing approaches.
- Ability to operate independently with limited oversight.
- Well-developed analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: familiarity with Workday ATS, large-scale corporate recruiting, healthcare or insurance recruiting, executive search, SPHR or an equivalent certification, team leadership in recruiting, process improvement, project management, business alignment, senior stakeholder partnership, negotiation and vendor management, employment law awareness, Microsoft Office, and HR systems.
- Preferred: willingness and ability to travel, including overnight travel when necessary.
Compensation
Pay is listed at $70 to $75 per hour for this full-time contract role.
