Role Overview
This position is for an exceptional Executive Assistant / Strategic EA who will support the firm’s co-managing partners. The role blends traditional executive assistance with a more strategic partnership, acting as a true force multiplier for senior leadership. The successful candidate will help keep the partners’ schedules, priorities, logistics, and communications running smoothly in a fast-paced consulting setting where needs can change quickly. The job also requires comfort handling both professional and personal support with discretion and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage administrative operations such as document formatting, research, and other support tasks while spotting and resolving workflow gaps before they become problems.
- Prepare, refine, and send partner communications with professionalism and in their preferred tone, while also researching and summarizing information to support decisions.
- Take full ownership of complex calendars for two senior leaders, balancing shifting priorities, time zones, meetings, and logistics with care and precision.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel end to end, including flights, lodging, ground transport, itineraries, and expense tracking and reconciliation.
- Provide personal assistance as needed, including appointment management, family-related logistics, vendor coordination, and other day-to-day tasks that help the partners stay organized.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings strong executive support experience and can work independently in demanding environments. They should be highly organized, proactive, and trusted to handle sensitive matters with sound judgment. This role is best suited to someone who can move smoothly between business and personal support, stay calm under pressure, and maintain excellent attention to detail.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience in executive assistance, executive operations, or senior administrative support for senior leaders in a fast-moving professional environment.
- Background in management consulting, strategy consulting, private equity, professional services, or a high-growth startup is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing demanding calendars, travel arrangements, executive communications, and high-priority administrative work.
- Excellent organizational ability with a talent for building structure, systems, and repeatable processes.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to predict needs and resolve issues without close supervision.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to protect confidential information and apply sound professional judgment at all times.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities accurately while staying detail-oriented.
- Comfortable escalating thoughtfully, making recommendations, and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Able to support both work-related and personal executive tasks efficiently and discreetly.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional experience using Zoom and Slack.
- Quick to learn new software, tools, and systems, with strong general tech fluency.
- Strong skills in time management, prioritization, and problem-solving.
- Remote or distributed team experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory if supported by relevant executive assistance experience.
