Description de l'emploi
Role overview
This position is central to the efficient running of European surface transport operations. You will coordinate with carriers, partners, and clients to make sure each movement is handled smoothly and in line with the company's processes and service expectations.
Core responsibilities
- Run assigned transport jobs end to end using the company’s internal systems.
- Provide a high standard of customer service, keep clients informed, and manage expectations proactively.
- Use commercial judgement to negotiate beneficial terms and protect margin on each shipment.
- Follow company procedures and comply with the applicable rules, policies, and standards.
- Produce routine reports, review performance data, and spot patterns that support better decisions.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver shared operational goals.
What the role requires
- Previous experience in European transport operations.
- Background in groupage and/or full truckload operations.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, along with strong people skills.
- Comfortable working with IT and operational systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive, practical approach to solving problems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt as business needs change.
