About Lantern
Lantern is a specialty care platform that helps people access high-quality care when they need it most. Through a network of top specialists across surgery, cancer care, infusions, and other services, Lantern delivers better care while reducing costs for employers and their employees. Members are supported throughout their care journey by dedicated care teams, including Care Advocates and nurses, and the platform offers nationwide access that is close to home for most people. Lantern serves more than 6 million members and is used by many of the country’s largest employers.
About the Role
The Enablement Operations Manager will serve as the operational owner behind Lantern’s enablement systems and reporting. This role is responsible for the daily administration of Highspot and Gong, the coordination of the commercial onboarding program, and the reporting processes that connect enablement work to business outcomes. The position partners closely with the Director of Enablement and VP of Enablement to turn strategy into execution.
This is a build-focused role for someone who enjoys creating order, improving systems, and raising the quality of enablement operations in a fast-scaling environment. Lantern is looking for a person who can strengthen measurement, improve platform adoption, and help shape the future of the enablement function.
Location: New York, NY, USA. Hybrid. Also open to hybrid candidates based in Dallas, TX and Washington, DC.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is highly operations-oriented, comfortable working within a clear framework, and motivated by execution. You should be the kind of professional who notices gaps in content organization, improves workflows without being prompted, and uses data to tell a useful story. Experience in enablement operations at a high-growth company is important, along with a practical perspective on how AI can improve enablement work. Lantern values people who collaborate well, move with integrity, and bring a strong sense of inclusion and humanity to their decisions.
Responsibilities
- Run the daily administration of Highspot, including content structure, tagging, taxonomy, organization, and content quality so that commercial teams can quickly locate current assets.
- Implement the content governance standards set by leadership, including lifecycle management, retirement of outdated materials, and identification of missing resources.
- Track platform engagement and usage patterns, then share insights about content consumption, gaps in adoption, and off-platform behavior.
- Handle Highspot user access, permissions, and onboarding for new team members.
- Act as the main subject matter expert for Highspot across the commercial organization.
- Manage day-to-day Gong administration, including setup, scorecard upkeep, and user management.
- Create and maintain Gong reports and dashboards that monitor calling activity, conversation trends, and coaching opportunities.
- Convert Gong insights into clear, practical recommendations for sales leadership and the learning and development team.
- Check that Gong is being used effectively across the commercial organization and identify adoption issues that require attention.
- Own the enablement reporting rhythm by building dashboards for certification progress, content adoption, onboarding speed, and other leading indicators tied to business results.
- Prepare recurring reports and summaries for enablement leadership to use in executive and leadership meetings.
- Watch for trends, outliers, and performance shifts in the data and escalate them proactively.
- Help move the team from tracking activity-only metrics to measuring business impact such as win rates and ramp speed.
- Coordinate Lantern’s 90-day commercial onboarding program, including scheduling, logistics, completion monitoring, and collaboration with hiring managers.
- Ensure every new commercial hire receives a consistent and well-managed onboarding experience from the start.
- Track onboarding performance metrics such as pass rates, completion rates, and manager survey feedback, and report results on a regular cadence.
- Identify points of friction or gaps in onboarding and propose improvements to leadership.
- Update and maintain onboarding materials in Highspot as products, messaging, and processes change.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, or a closely related area, with direct ownership of enablement systems or platforms.
- Practical experience with Highspot or a similar sales enablement tool; experience with Gong is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical ability with experience building clear reports, interpreting data, and presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, with a consistently high standard for quality and accuracy.
- A proactive, self-directed approach and a willingness to identify and solve problems without being prompted.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales, customer success, and marketing teams.
- Background supporting onboarding or training programs in a fast-moving, high-growth environment is a plus.
- Interest in healthcare, benefits, or health tech is helpful but not required.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve enablement workflows; candidates should be able to explain specific ways they have used AI in real work.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud and familiarity with a GTM tech stack where Salesforce serves as the system of record.
