Role Overview

JET Charge is seeking an E-Commerce Operations Manager to take ownership of the daily running and ongoing optimisation of its Retail and Wholesale online store. This is a hands-on execution role where you will keep the channel operating smoothly, improve the underlying processes, and reduce manual effort as the business scales.

You will be involved in store content, customer experience, order fulfilment, systems, process improvement and coordination across teams. The position is best suited to someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, simplifying recurring work, and building reliable ways of working across multiple functions.

Your work will cover the practical management of the e-commerce channel as well as broader operational improvement initiatives. You will help ensure product content stays accurate, customer journeys are smooth, and orders move efficiently from checkout to delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee the daily operation of JET Charge’s Retail and Wholesale online store.
  • Ensure product details, images, technical specifications and supporting content remain accurate, current and high quality.
  • Improve the customer journey from product discovery through to order completion and fulfilment.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Marketing, Finance, Tech, Business Development and external partners so orders are processed and delivered reliably.
  • Spot fulfilment bottlenecks, process gaps and customer experience issues, then work with the relevant teams to address the root cause.
  • Support channel growth initiatives such as referral programmes, pricing activities, partnerships and new customer acquisition or service models.
  • Convert new initiatives into clear, documented and repeatable processes once they are stable.
  • Review procurement, operations, finance and business development workflows to find repetitive work and improve it through SOPs, automation or system updates.
  • Work with the Tech team and outside vendors to enhance the store and the systems that support it.
  • Bring the right stakeholders together, define next steps clearly and drive actions through to completion.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-moving operational environment.
  • Background in e-commerce, operations, growth, process improvement, business operations or a similar field.
  • Comfort working in a scaling business where established playbooks may not yet exist.
  • Strong comfort with data and numbers, including using them to diagnose issues, set targets and prioritise work.
  • A systems-and-process mindset with the ability to think in workflows, ownership, handoffs and repeatable operating models.
  • Strong organisational ability and the capacity to manage several priorities across different teams.
  • Confidence collaborating across functions such as Operations, Warehouse, Marketing, Finance, Tech, Business Development and external partners.
  • High accountability and persistence in staying close to an issue until it is resolved.
