About the Role
Jake’s Heating, Air & Plumbing is hiring a Duct Cleaning Technician for residential work in Knightstown, Indiana. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, takes pride in doing the job thoroughly, and wants to help families improve the air quality in their homes.

What You’ll Do
- Carry out professional duct cleaning services in homes.
- Check indoor air quality basics and identify areas that need attention.
- Look for concerns such as dust accumulation, airflow issues, and ventilation problems.
- Suggest indoor air quality improvements when appropriate, including filtration enhancements or system accessories.
- Help with installations, routine maintenance, and minor air-quality-related repairs when needed.
- Explain maintenance tips and best practices to customers so they can care for their systems properly.
- Record job details and notes accurately in the CRM system.
- Keep tools and equipment clean and maintain a professional presentation.
What You Need
The role calls for a high school diploma or GED, good judgment, and strong communication with customers. You should be able to recognize problems, explain solutions clearly to homeowners, and remain comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential settings. A careful, detail-oriented approach and a problem-solving mindset are important.
You must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Passing a background check and drug screening is also required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in HVAC, indoor air quality, or residential service work is a plus. Familiarity with ServiceTitan is also considered an advantage.
