Document Reviewer

Role overview

This remote contract position is focused on reviewing data for AI training workflows. You will help improve next-generation AI systems by examining real-world information carefully, making sure it is accurate, well-organized, and suitable for use in model development.

What you will do

• Examine both structured and unstructured documents in large volumes while checking for correctness and completeness.
• Spot data issues, inconsistencies, and any privacy concerns involving personally identifiable information (PII).
• Classify, label, and when required, mask sensitive content to support privacy and compliance requirements.
• Work within defined rules, taxonomies, and review workflows to categorize and validate information properly.
• Carry out QA checks to confirm data integrity and ensure outputs meet standards.
• Keep thorough records of all documents reviewed and the actions taken for accountability and traceability.
• Coordinate with the client team and share clear written and spoken updates on findings and suggested next steps.

Experience and qualifications

• Hands-on experience with document review, auditing, annotation, redaction, or large-scale data classification.
• Strong accuracy and concentration, especially in repetitive review tasks.
• Working knowledge of how to handle and protect PII.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and working with teammates.
• Ability to consistently follow detailed instructions and established taxonomies.
• Experience with QA or validation activities on large datasets.
• Capability to stay precise while working efficiently in a remote setting.

Preferred background

• Experience in legal, compliance, privacy, auditing, or information security fields.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning data projects.
• Comfort using collaboration tools and digital workflow systems.
