Role Overview

The Data Science Analyst supports the creation, planning, and delivery of models and data products that help strengthen both academic and business results at Stride. In this role, you will work within the analytics team to investigate school data, company-owned data, and external data sources in order to answer meaningful research questions and produce clear, repeatable, and well-documented analyses.

Core Responsibilities

  • Use tools such as DBT, SQL, Python, and GitHub to gather, organize, and model datasets so they perform effectively for business needs.
  • Build, publish, and support products and applications in the Power BI service.
  • Carry out on-demand analysis to uncover insights and summarize key conclusions, limitations, and cautions.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to combine and align knowledge across data domains.
  • Help improve data accuracy and standardization, including work related to data ownership.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with established guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent training.
  • Three years of professional experience using BI tools and SQL-based modeling, including at least one year working on action-oriented, outcome-driven data analysis.
  • Alternatively, proven experience working with large datasets and relational databases for BI solutions.
  • A comparable mix of education and professional experience may also be considered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be able to pass the required background screening.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $57,519.75 to $82,000 per year. Final pay is influenced by factors such as education, experience, qualifications, work location, the level of the role, expected contribution, and any travel requirements. Offers are generally made in the lower half of the range.

Eligible employees may also receive a bonus. Compensation is not fixed and may vary based on geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
