Description de l'emploi
Role Overview
Vanguardia | Corredora de Seguros is looking for a remote, entry-level Data Insights Analyst to help turn raw information into practical business intelligence. In this part-time role, you will work with internal systems and reports to collect, organize, and examine data that supports decision-making for business and insurance operations teams.
What You’ll Do
Your work will focus on building clear summaries and dashboards, spotting meaningful patterns, and presenting findings in a way that is easy for non-technical teams to use. You will also help clarify information needs with teammates, check data for accuracy, document the methods you use, and contribute to simple data modeling work.
Routine analysis, basic statistical calculations, and communicating results in a straightforward format will be part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a solid foundation in analytics and basic data analysis. A working understanding of statistics and quantitative problem-solving is important, along with familiarity with data structures and introductory data modeling concepts.
Strong communication skills are needed to explain insights clearly to people without technical backgrounds. You should also be comfortable using spreadsheet and visualization tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote setting are important. A background in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
Interest in insurance and risk management is helpful. Previous internships or academic projects related to data analysis are a plus, but they are not mandatory.
