Role Overview
This position is for a voice-based customer support professional with a BPO services company in Chennai. The role involves handling customer conversations in multiple Indian languages and delivering prompt, courteous assistance to ensure a positive service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle both inbound customer calls and outbound follow-ups.
- Communicate with customers in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, or Kannada as needed.
- Listen to customer concerns, identify the issue, and provide appropriate support.
- Resolve customer queries in a polite and timely manner.
- Record and update customer information accurately in the internal system.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and workflow guidelines.
- Route complex or unresolved matters to the appropriate team for further action.
- Work toward maintaining a smooth and satisfactory customer experience.
