Role summary
This full-time customer service position is suited to someone with strong people skills, a full New Zealand driver licence, and a genuine interest in automotive parts. The role is based in Levin and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings required.
The aim of the job is to deliver excellent service while guiding customers toward the correct parts and solutions for their needs.
What you will do
- Assist trade customers at the counter and handle enquiries by phone.
- Help customers identify suitable vehicle parts and related solutions.
- Pick, pack, and process orders with care and accuracy.
- Look for chances to suggest complementary products or upgrades.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with a loyal customer base.
What you will need
- Previous experience in customer service; experience in automotive or trade environments is highly valued.
- Comfort using computers, with basic Excel knowledge considered an advantage.
- Interest in cars or automotive parts.
- Clear communication skills and a positive, practical attitude.
- Ability to stay accurate and effective in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- A cooperative mindset and willingness to contribute as part of a team.
