Role Overview

The Custodian 1 - EVS role focuses on keeping public spaces and guest-support areas clean, orderly, and safe. This includes routine sanitation tasks, assisting guests with room items, and helping maintain the overall appearance of the property.

Key Duties

• Keep assigned public areas clean and presentable, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms, and similar spaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris from designated areas.
• Support property cleanup efforts, including handling bio-chemical materials when required.
• Bring rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and similar items to guest rooms and return them as needed.
• Restock linen closets and move linen carts by loading and unloading supplies.
• Care for equipment and supplies to help prevent damage or unnecessary wear.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 or 21 years old, depending on property requirements.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior cleaning experience of at least one year is preferred.
• The job requires the ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Applicants must be able to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
