The role focuses on producing and organising content that documents live productions, workshops, events, and arts-related work.

You will be part of a small, fast-moving team where priorities can change during production periods. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable collaborating closely with others while taking ownership of assigned tasks.

What you will do

This position combines content creation, video editing, photography support, social media coordination, and project documentation. You will help turn raw materials from rehearsals, shows, and events into polished content for online and internal use.

Content creation

  • Develop social content for The Presenting Company, Cue & Co., and related projects.
  • Support content planning and delivery across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other channels as needed.
  • Write simple captions and short-form posts, and prepare reels, stories, and visual updates.
  • Capture rehearsals, workshops, events, and behind-the-scenes moments for documentation.
  • Create content that reflects the organisation’s voice, culture, and production workflow.

Video editing

  • Edit short videos, teasers, recap edits, reels, and behind-the-scenes clips.
  • Sort through and organise footage from rehearsals, performances, workshops, and events.
  • Add subtitles, text overlays, music, and straightforward graphic elements when needed.
  • Prepare video outputs in formats suitable for social media, archiving, and client reference.
  • Ensure the final edit is clear, polished, and suited to the tone of each project.

Photography and visual support

  • Assist with basic photo-taking during rehearsals, events, workshops, and company activities.
  • Choose and arrange usable photos for marketing, documentation, and internal records.
  • Handle light photo editing such as cropping, resizing, colour correction, and formatting.
  • Support the creation of visual materials for announcements, event updates, and simple publicity assets.

Social media and marketing support

  • Help schedule and publish content that has been approved.
  • Maintain a steady online presence for The Presenting Company, Cue & Co., and related initiatives.
  • Track content ideas, posting schedules, and basic campaign plans.
  • Assist with marketing materials such as posters, slides, signs, digital notices, and event graphics.
  • Gather materials from project teams, artists, vendors, and clients for content use.

Project and production documentation

  • Document important moments from productions, workshops, rehearsals, and events.
  • Organise digital assets including photos, videos, edits, captions, and design files.
  • Keep file naming, folder structure, and version control consistent.
  • Prepare simple recap decks or folders for internal review, clients, or future reference.
  • Archive completed project materials in an organised way.

Client and partner project support

  • Support content needs for selected client or partner projects when required.
  • Coordinate with project leads to clarify content requirements.
  • Prepare materials for approval before they are posted or shared externally.
  • Handle client materials, footage, images, and confidential information professionally.

Working style and expectations

  • Be responsible, respectful, and professional when working with team members, clients, partners, artists, and vendors.
  • Be receptive to feedback and revisions.
  • Stay organised with files, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Be prepared for shifting production timelines, especially during rehearsals and show weeks.
  • Protect the confidentiality of company, client, partner, artist, and project materials.
  • Work in line with the company values of teamwork, care, trust, and professionalism.

Good to have

  • Interest in theatre, live events, music, dance, education, or the arts.
  • Prior experience producing social media content.
  • Basic understanding of branding, marketing, or storytelling.
  • Availability to work selected evenings or during show periods when needed.
  • Comfort with on-site support during rehearsals, workshops, or performances.

Possible deliverables

  • Short-form social media videos and reels.
  • Behind-the-scenes clips.
  • Recap videos from events or rehearsals.
  • Photo folders and selected edited images.
  • Captions and social media posts.
  • Simple posters, notices, and digital collaterals.
  • Project recap decks.
  • Well-organised content archive folders.
