Description de l'emploi
Role overview
This consultant role sits within McKinsey’s Operations Excellence Program and focuses on procurement-related client work. You would be part of a high-performance environment where resilience, curiosity, and a drive to deliver meaningful client impact are essential.
In this position, you will contribute to client engagements much like any other consultant, while developing through structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience. The role is based in one of the European offices and is connected to the Procurement service line within the Operations practice.
What you can expect
- Ongoing learning through apprenticeship-style development and structured capability-building programs.
- Regular feedback aimed at strengthening your performance and accelerating professional growth.
- The chance to contribute ideas early and help shape practical solutions for clients.
- Exposure to a global network of colleagues representing 65+ countries and more than 100 nationalities.
- A competitive salary aligned with location, experience, and skills, plus a broad benefits package for overall well-being.
Client and program work
As part of the two-year Operations Excellence Program, you will help solve client problems by defining issues, building hypotheses, carrying out analyses, and turning findings into recommendations. Your development will combine on-the-job coaching with a formal learning curriculum focused on operations excellence.
During the first years in the firm, you will work across multiple client engagements and collaborate with teams and clients from different industries and operations service lines. The program also includes functional training and deeper knowledge development in one of six operations areas: manufacturing, product development, purchasing, service operations, supply chain management, or capital excellence.
After successful completion of the program, consultants join the global network of operational excellence experts.
Procurement focus
The Procurement service line supports client leadership on strategic and operational matters such as global sourcing, e-procurement, supplier development, and building purchasing organizations.
Application guidance
Applications must be submitted in English and should include a CV and transcripts from high school, university, and any other relevant education, with grades shown.
