Role Summary
As a Community Manager for the Software Engineering Toolchain, you will be the main point of contact for both internal and external developer communities. Your work will focus on guiding users, gathering feedback, and helping improve the software toolchain through active community engagement.
Key Activities
- Serve as the central contact for the developer community around the software engineering toolchain.
- Provide support to users and manage feedback so the toolchain can be improved continuously.
- Run and oversee community channels, respond to questions, and encourage interaction among members.
- Collect user input, study recurring issues or suggestions, and pass them on to product development.
- Develop and update helpful resources such as guides, FAQs, and best-practice examples.
- Plan and organize community initiatives such as webinars and themed community days.
Requirements
- Completed university degree, for example in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Communication, or a similar field.
- Strong communication and moderation abilities with a clear service mindset.
- Enjoyment in solving technical issues and a structured, independent, proactive way of working.
- Several years of experience in community management or technical support, preferably in a software or embedded environment.
- Good understanding of software development workflows and experience producing technical content such as tutorials or blog posts.
- Confident use of community platforms, including forums and social media.
- Very good German and English skills.
