Role Overview
The Client Services Executive plays an important part in CARMA’s client service function by helping deliver media intelligence services smoothly and professionally. In this position, you will support the team in ensuring clients receive responsive service and insights aligned to their communication goals.
Your day-to-day work will include onboarding clients, handling service deliverables, and preparing accurate, polished reports. You will use strong communication and a sharp eye for detail to manage client and internal correspondence effectively. Over time, you will build familiarity with CARMA’s monitoring tools and platforms so you can help convert media information into useful insight and improve the client experience.
This position contributes directly to client satisfaction and retention. You will be expected to develop knowledge of the media sector and CARMA’s offerings, while bringing energy and initiative to your work.
Client Support Duties
- Help bring new clients onboard and set clear expectations from the start.
- Respond to everyday client queries and service requests in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams to keep service delivery accurate and on schedule.
- Prepare and send client reports based on CARMA’s monitoring output.
Operational Responsibilities
- Keep client account and deliverable records organised and up to date.
- Make sure service requests are handled efficiently and with minimal errors.
- Track service performance measures and share updates on efficiency where needed.
- Support troubleshooting for issues linked to client accounts or delivery.
Analysis and Insight Support
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative review of media data.
- Help identify themes and insights relevant to client goals.
- Support the presentation of findings and practical recommendations to clients.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Client Services team to stay aligned on objectives and delivery standards.
- Join internal discussions on account planning and best practices.
- Use feedback and direction from senior colleagues to grow professionally.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Genuine interest in media and communications, along with a basic understanding of media monitoring.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Japanese.
- Excellent organisation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to juggle several tasks at once.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as other digital platforms.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and contribute positively to the team.
