ChitChat is tackling two major problems in e-commerce: the creator world is split across separate tools for content, community, and selling, and the rise of AI-produced content has made trust and authenticity harder for shoppers to evaluate. To solve this, ChitChat brings the full creator-commerce journey into one connected platform. The ecosystem includes livestreaming at broadcast scale with recording, permanent storefronts, native checkout, subscription-based commerce, group-buy tools, transaction intelligence, and premium creator discovery.
Role Overview
ChitChat is seeking a CEO and Co-Founder to help shape it into the leading creator-led commerce platform. This is a hands-on builder-operator position focused on accelerating growth through creator acquisition, major brand partnerships, fundraising, and strategic alliances. You will also represent the company publicly across the creator economy, digital commerce, media, and venture capital circles.
Key Ownership Areas
You will be responsible for building and expanding ChitChat's creator and brand network, leading fundraising efforts, developing strategic partnerships, setting the company's long-term direction, and acting as the main public voice for the business.
Creator & Brand Network
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading creators, talent managers, agencies, and networks across sports, entertainment, and athletics.
- Bring in flagship creators and brands that can become the foundation of the marketplace.
- Shape ChitChat as the preferred commerce layer for creators seeking ownership, repeat income, and direct relationships with customers.
Fundraising
- Take charge of all fundraising activity, covering everything from pre-seed to growth-stage rounds.
- Build and nurture connections with venture capital firms, family offices, and strategic backers.
- Own investor decks, funding strategy, and all related communication.
Strategic Partnerships
- Create partnerships with agencies, talent networks, media organizations, sports bodies, and commerce platforms.
- Spot and pursue opportunities for acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
Vision & Leadership
- Define ChitChat's long-range strategy and communicate it clearly.
- Keep product, operations, marketing, and growth teams aligned around that strategy.
- Hire and keep exceptional leaders while building a strong execution-focused culture.
Market Positioning
- Serve as ChitChat's main representative to creators, investors, media, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop strong thought leadership around creator-led commerce and the future of digital ownership.
How Success Will Be Evaluated
- Number of creators and flagship brands brought onto the platform.
- Monthly GMV and sales generated by creators.
- Total capital raised and partnerships closed.
- Growth in revenue and retention.
- Increase in enterprise valuation.
