Chief Executive Officer

Role Overview

An established international organisation is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to steer its overall direction, commercial performance, and future expansion. This is a senior leadership appointment for someone who can pair big-picture thinking with disciplined execution, align executive teams, and generate long-term value through sound judgment, strong stakeholder management, and enterprise-wide performance.

The CEO will oversee the company’s operations end to end, shape and execute strategies that serve customers, stakeholders, and employees, and make the key decisions that define and reinforce the organisation’s culture.

Key Accountabilities

• Set the organisation’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic direction, and communicate it clearly across the business
• Lead initiatives that improve growth, profitability, and expansion into new markets
• Recruit, guide, and develop the executive leadership team
• Take major strategic calls across operations, investments, and partnerships
• Act as the organisation’s face to investors, board members, customers, and other external stakeholders
• Lead fundraising activity, investor communication, and capital deployment decisions
• Keep all major functions aligned around common priorities and objectives
• Shape company values, culture, and leadership standards
• Track business performance indicators and ensure delivery against strategic plans
• Spot opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the market

Experience and Fit

The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of leadership experience, including time in executive roles, along with a strong history of scaling a company or business unit. A solid grasp of business across product, technology, and go-to-market areas is important, as is experience in fundraising, investor relations, and board-level management.

We are looking for someone who has a record of building and leading high-performing teams, together with excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership capability.

Additional Valuable Background

Experience as a CEO or founder would be particularly useful. The organisation would also value a background in high-growth or startup environments, and experience in SaaS, AI, machine learning, or other technology-led businesses.

An MBA or an advanced business or technical qualification is preferred. Equivalent senior leadership experience will also be considered.
