Description de l'emploi
About the Opportunity
Pinnacle, which is part of The Pennant Group family, is looking for ambitious leaders who have a track record of building strong teams and a genuine interest in senior living. This salaried, full-time training role is intended to prepare future leaders to manage an assisted living, independent living, or memory care community.
The CEO-in-Training program generally runs for 3 to 6 months, with the exact length influenced by your prior background and experience. Successful participants may move into a leadership role within one of the company’s communities or a future acquisition, supported by ongoing mentoring and operational guidance.
In this role, you will receive practical exposure to operations, clinical care, and business management while working closely with an experienced Executive Director/CEO. The program combines coaching, cross-functional learning, and meaningful accountability in a fast-moving environment. You will build the skills needed to drive performance, strengthen team culture, and understand the operating model behind Pennant’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in intensive, hands-on training across operational, clinical, and administrative areas.
- Learn the daily workflow of the community by observing department leaders and frontline employees.
- Own live projects and help implement improvements in the host community.
- Review applicable state rules and established senior living operating practices.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills in line with Pinnacle’s mission and values.
Qualifications
To be considered, candidates should bring 3 to 5 years of leadership experience from any industry. You should have a demonstrated ability to build and guide high-performing teams, motivate others, establish direction, and achieve measurable outcomes. During the program, you must complete any state licensing required for the role, which varies by location. Relocation is expected based on available opportunities.
Preferred background includes a bachelor’s degree, with MBA, MHA, or a related degree viewed favorably. Experience in operations, financial management, or business development is also helpful. An entrepreneurial outlook and a service-minded approach are strongly valued.
