Role Overview
This senior leadership opportunity is based in Singapore and involves guiding core operational, technology, and project management functions for a respected financial institution. The role is centered on improving operating performance, reinforcing risk and compliance discipline, and supporting growth through better processes and digital change.
Operational Leadership
- Direct central operations across wealth operations, treasury operations, trade finance, and loan operations.
- Coordinate teams working across operations, technology, and project delivery.
Risk, Compliance, and Business Continuity
- Make sure all activities follow internal policies and applicable regulatory standards.
- Put operational risk controls in place and keep them under review to reduce financial, fraud, and reputational exposure.
- Own business continuity planning and testing activities.
Process Improvement and Transformation
- Lead redesign efforts that improve efficiency, service quality, and cost control.
- Champion change programs such as automation and system upgrades.
Performance and Service Delivery
- Set and track KPIs and SLAs to maintain strong service performance.
- Hold regular service review discussions with vendors and partners.
Project Management
- Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives covering process enhancements, product-related work, and digital transformation.
- Ensure delivery stays on schedule and is governed effectively.
Technology Oversight
- Provide direction for IT areas including application support, development, and infrastructure.
- Ensure IT governance, audit readiness, and cybersecurity expectations are met.
Documentation and Capability Building
- Oversee the creation and upkeep of operational documents and training resources.
- Encourage ongoing learning and stronger cross-functional capability across the business.
Qualifications and Experience
