Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter position in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The selected candidate will read drawings and measurements to cut, shape, and put together wooden components like frames, partitions, doors, and cabinets. The job also includes fitting and restoring fixtures, aligning doors and windows, maintaining quality finishes, and ensuring compliance with safety and workmanship standards.
Key Duties
The carpenter will use hand and power tools, choose suitable materials, keep the work area orderly and safe, and coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete construction and maintenance tasks within the required timeline.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should bring solid hands-on carpentry experience, including accurate measuring, cutting, assembling, and installation work. Familiarity with hand and power tools, material selection, hardware, and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints is important. Candidates should also understand site safety practices, local construction standards, and the expectations for high-quality finish work.
Work Style and Physical Fit
The role calls for someone who can work independently as well as within a team, follow instructions carefully, and communicate clearly with supervisors and co-workers.
