Role Overview

This short-term calibration role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and focuses on supporting critical and non-critical process equipment as well as laboratory standards. Key Duties

  • Plan and carry out calibration activities for critical and non-critical process equipment and laboratory standards.
  • Complete all supporting records and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Work with external vendors for repair and/or calibration services and help process purchase orders.
  • Develop and roll out new standard operating procedures for internal calibration work.
  • Recommend updates and revisions to SOPs to help move the lab toward a Type 1 standards calibration capability.
  • Take part in calibration system audits.
  • Deliver responsive customer support and handle certification training for staff.
  • Perform maintenance tasks in support of UAE operations in line with standard U.S. Army maintenance concepts, practices, procedures, and AR 750-1.
  • Transfer task knowledge and operational know-how to UAE military calibration technicians through on-the-job training.
  • Help UAE calibration technicians build the capability to independently support PATRIOT calibration activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this role is USD 86,800 to USD 165,200.
