Business Unit Director – CCTV, Security Systems & ELV Solutions

Role Overview

This leadership position is accountable for steering the business unit’s expansion, earnings, and overall operational health. The selected person will shape growth strategy, win new business, form key alliances, and strengthen the company’s position in the security technology and integrated solutions market.

The main aim is to build durable business value by increasing revenue, landing large-scale projects, widening market reach, and maintaining strong profitability across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the business unit roadmap, commercial targets, and growth priorities.
• Increase revenue and margins across CCTV, access control, ELV, networking, security systems, and related technology offerings.
• Source and convert new customers, projects, framework contracts, and strategic collaborations.
• Maintain productive relationships with government bodies, contractors, consultants, developers, facility management firms, and enterprise clients.
• Oversee sales, projects, operations, technical support, and customer service activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered successfully while keeping clients satisfied and operations efficient.
• Track budgets, KPIs, profitability, and overall business outcomes.
• Create additional services and identify market opportunities that support expansion.
• Guide, coach, and develop strong commercial and operational teams.
• Present business updates and strategic plans to Sendian Group leadership.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in security systems, CCTV, ELV, ICT infrastructure, technology solutions, or similar sectors.
• At least 8 years in a senior management capacity with profit and loss responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in business development, project wins, and revenue expansion.
• A well-established network across government, semi-government, construction, consulting, and corporate circles.
• Prior work experience in the GCC is essential.
• Strong capabilities in commercial management, leadership, project oversight, and stakeholder handling.
