Business Operations & Analytics Specialist

Overview

This contract role is for a Business Operations & Analytics Specialist working remotely from Canada. The engagement is expected to run for 10 to 40 hours each week, with compensation set at $50 to $60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Review operational data and performance indicators to uncover patterns, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and KPI reports that help guide business decisions.
• Map out processes and analyze workflows to turn operational steps into clear, usable insights.
• Prepare visual materials that make complex data and recommendations easier to understand.
• Develop scoring rubrics and evaluation frameworks for assessing operational results.
• Convert analytical findings into short, practical recommendations for different business audiences.

Required Background

• Substantial experience in operations management, business analysis, or strategy-related functions.
• Strong command of business intelligence tools and KPI reporting systems.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Practical experience in documenting processes and improving workflows.
• Ability to interpret data effectively and present it through charts and executive-ready summaries.
