About the team
The team collaborates with fintech companies, travel businesses, and technology platforms to build new revenue opportunities through embedded mobile connectivity. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial and energetic Business Development Manager who will focus on expanding the B2B2C business and delivering important projects. The position combines hands-on sales with support to the executive leadership team on strategic direction.
What you'll do
- Increase revenue by winning new accounts and managing the complete sales journey from first contact to closure.
- Act as a representative of 1GLOBAL for prospective customers and lead the end-to-end acquisition process.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in enterprise accounts.
- Design and pitch solutions that integrate smoothly into customer applications and create incremental revenue streams.
- Help map, improve, and implement scalable business processes.
- Carry out ongoing benchmarking and performance reviews.
- Shape growth initiatives and contribute to market-entry as well as expansion planning.
- Monitor sales KPIs closely and share progress updates with leadership.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree from a highly regarded business school or an equivalent background is strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally gained in consulting, investment banking, or venture-backed startups.
- Strong English communication skills; German is an advantage, and you should be open to travelling across Europe.
- Prior exposure to technology businesses is preferred, with SaaS, telecom, or other go-to-market experience seen as a strong plus.
- Comfort with technical products and the willingness to understand complex solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, paired with a practical, entrepreneurial, and hands-on approach.
- Proven ability to build relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Self-driven and target-focused, with the ability to work independently and also contribute effectively in a team.
