Role Overview

Concret.io is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Executive who can independently handle Upwork bidding, lead generation, and early-stage client engagement. The person in this role will own the company’s presence on Upwork, shape bidding strategies, and create tailored proposals that improve win rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the company’s Upwork profile, including optimization, management, and bidding activities.
  • Spot promising job opportunities, focus on warm leads, and prioritize prospects with a stronger chance of conversion.
  • Build bidding approaches on your own and prepare polished, client-specific proposals, cover letters, and supporting documents.
  • Represent the company across international markets, with a strong focus on the US, UK, Europe, and EMEA regions.
  • Handle introductory discovery calls, communicate technical strengths clearly, and support lead qualification at the early stage.
  • Stay available across both day and night shifts to support business coverage across global time zones.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of bids, responses, and lead stages using CRM or similar tracking tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the IT or software services sector is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of the software industry, including development lifecycles, cloud technologies, SaaS/PaaS models, and enterprise systems.
