Role overview
This position is focused on expanding TÜV SÜD Academy’s footprint in the UAE by attracting new customers, growing revenue, and promoting training services that meet market demand. The role combines sales execution, account development, and market awareness to help strengthen the Academy’s overall growth plan.
The selected professional will work across open enrollment courses, customized corporate programs, and international classroom offerings. Success in the role depends on building lasting client relationships, presenting the training portfolio effectively, and consistently delivering against sales goals.
Key duties
- Drive sales of TÜV SÜD Academy training services throughout the UAE market.
- Spot and pursue new opportunities for open courses, tailored in-company programs, and international classroom training.
- Use effective negotiation to position solutions that are both competitive and valuable for clients.
- Improve customer satisfaction by preparing customized proposals and ensuring strong service delivery.
- Research prospects in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Government, and other relevant industries.
- Understand client challenges, market trends, and training needs before approaching potential customers.
- Contact prospects and customers through calls, emails, and meetings to develop new business and manage existing relationships.
- Present the Academy’s portfolio, including technical, safety, sustainability, and digital learning solutions, in a clear and persuasive way.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and work toward closing deals.
- Monitor sales activity, keep CRM records updated in MSD, and prepare regular performance and market reports.
- Share insights on customer requirements and market developments with internal teams.
- Work closely with operations, trainers, and marketing to ensure training programs are delivered smoothly.
- Take part in internal meetings and discussions related to product and program development.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant has a strong background in sales or business development and can confidently promote technical training solutions. A customer-oriented approach, strong follow-through, and the ability to work toward ambitious targets are important for success in this role.
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within training, certification, or technical services.
- English and Arabic are mandatory; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- A valid UAE driving license is required.
- Strong ability to sell, negotiate, and communicate effectively.
- Comfort with explaining technical training offerings to different client groups.
- A results-oriented, customer-first mindset.
- Knowledge of or certifications in ISO standards, sustainability, safety, or digital transformation topics is beneficial.
