Role Overview
GeoEnergy Group is seeking seasoned professionals for two remote contract roles supporting AI work in the Oil & Gas domain. The company is looking for candidates who can help shape and deliver advanced AI-driven initiatives across business analysis and data science functions.
Open Positions
The hiring team is recruiting for the following roles:
- Business Analyst (AI)
- Data Scientist (AI Applications)
Business Analyst (AI) - Key Focus Areas
- Bring at least 7 years of professional experience.
- Handle AI requirement gathering, review, and ongoing requirement management within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Contribute to business design and solution design efforts.
- Carry out requirements elicitation and manage the full requirements lifecycle.
- Work closely with stakeholders and coordinate effectively across functions.
- Support backlog management, as well as release planning and tracking.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Python, or database development will be considered a strong plus.
Data Scientist (AI Applications) - Key Focus Areas
- Bring at least 7 years of experience working as a Data Scientist.
- Develop AI/ML models for Oil & Gas use cases.
- Work confidently with Python, Dataiku, and related data science tools.
- Understand the full application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Have experience with cloud-native application development.
- Be familiar with Azure AD authentication and authorization.
- Understand secure deployment approaches for production systems.
- Be able to deploy and support applications in production environments.
- Working knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) is an added advantage.
