Business Analyst - AI Process Excellence

Role overview

This contract opportunity is with a major investment management platform seeking support on a high-priority consulting engagement. The assignment sits at the intersection of business and technology, helping shape and deliver an AI-enabled investment product.

What you'll be doing

• Map the existing and target-state investment workflows.
• Elicit, check, and maintain business requirements throughout the project.
• Convert business objectives into well-defined technical outputs.
• Assist with testing, user acceptance testing, and product validation for the AI solution.

Experience and background needed

• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis and/or process excellence.
• Experience from a management consulting environment.
• A strong background in financial services, ideally investment-related work.
• Prior exposure to private markets is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting AI product delivery or wider digital transformation initiatives.
• Well-developed process mapping and business analysis skills.

Helpful technology exposure

• Familiarity with generative AI and agentic AI workflows.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with the Azure ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of BI and reporting platforms.
• Comfort using agile delivery tools such as Jira.

Engagement details

This is a London-based hybrid role, working on an outside IR35 contract. The initial term is 6 months. The expected day rate is £550 to £650. The preferred start is as soon as possible, and candidates should ideally have no more than 2 weeks' notice.
