About the Role
Set & Stones is expanding quickly and is looking for an exceptionally organized, proactive, and detail-driven Brand Operations Manager to support daily business activity across marketing, ecommerce, wholesale, and internal project coordination.
This is a small but growing team, so the ideal person enjoys a startup-style environment, can handle many responsibilities at once, and knows how to bring order, structure, and dependable follow-through to a fast-moving company. You will work closely with the founder and the internal team to keep priorities clear, projects on track, and different functions aligned.
Brand Operations & Project Management
- Coordinate cross-functional work and daily operations by managing priorities, timelines, launches, approvals, and deliverables across marketing, ecommerce, wholesale, and operations so the business stays organized and progresses smoothly.
- Maintain, refine, and strengthen internal systems, workflows, and operational processes.
- Serve as the main coordination hub between the founder, team members, and outside consultants by handling communication, task delegation, follow-ups, approvals, deliverables, and accountability.
- Spot operational gaps and bottlenecks early, then help build scalable processes and solutions that support growth.
- Convert founder ideas into practical action plans and workable timelines.
- Bring clarity and structure to an environment that moves quickly.
Wholesale + Ecommerce Support
- Support retailer onboarding and account management for partners such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Anthropologie, and Free People.
- Assist the operations team with assortment planning, collection launches, product setup, promotional calendars, and wholesale submissions.
- Review and help manage the Shopify storefront by checking product listings, inventory organization, and related operational workflows.
- Help resolve backend operational issues and retailer integrations.
- Support reporting, analysis, and inventory review across multiple channels.
- Track and oversee wholesale purchase orders.
Marketing Support
- Manage outside marketing partners, including social media, influencer, UGC, email, and graphic design consultants, while keeping work aligned across the team.
- Work with the team to shape, build, and manage the marketing calendar and campaign timelines.
- Share the brand roadmap with consultants so marketing efforts stay consistent across every channel.
- Review creative briefs, campaign materials, and launch schedules.
- Support performance reporting and analysis for marketing efforts and look for opportunities to improve growth.
- Assist with additional creative partners as needed for brand photoshoots, including photographers and models.
Growth & Strategic Support
- Identify growth opportunities across wholesale and ecommerce channels.
- Support retailer partnerships, brand collaborations, and other new business opportunities.
- Track sales performance, channel growth, and competitor activity to surface insights that guide strategy.
- Pull and interpret reports across ecommerce, wholesale, influencer, and promotional channels to support data-led decisions.
Who You Are
- Exceptionally organized, detail-focused, and reliable in following through.
- Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently.
- Able to manage several priorities and projects at the same time.
- A strong communicator who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Collaborative, flexible, and energized by fast-paced brands where roles are broad and dynamic.
Qualifications
- At least 2–5+ years of experience in operations, project management, brand management, or a closely related role.
- Background in ecommerce, fashion, beauty, jewelry, or consumer brands is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Exposure to tools such as Shopify, Asana, Klaviyo, Google Sheets, Canva, and Slack is a plus.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and deadlines.
- Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
- Solid understanding of wholesale and dropship operations, along with major retail vendor portals, is highly preferred.
Position Details
- This is a full-time position.
- Work arrangement may be remote or hybrid, depending on location.
- Medical insurance includes an employer contribution covering 50% of monthly premium costs for employee coverage.
- A company laptop or work computer is provided during employment.
- Paid time off is accrual-based, with 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked.
- Paid sick leave totals 40 hours per year.
- Employees receive a generous Set & Stones discount.
- 401(k) retirement plan includes an employer match.
- Compensation starts at $72,000+ and will vary based on experience.
- This role offers the chance to grow with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial brand in a creative and collaborative environment.
