Role Overview
This position is for an AutoCAD Detailer in Pune, working on precast projects. The role requires strong technical drawing capability, accuracy, and the ability to produce quality output in line with client standards. Candidates with relevant civil engineering qualifications and experience in international precast detailing are preferred.
Experience and Qualifications
The role calls for 1 to 7 years of relevant experience and a Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Technical Requirements
- Prior experience of 1 to 7 years in precast-related work.
- Strong attention to detail along with solid problem-solving ability.
- Exposure to international precast projects is required.
- Ability to prepare erection drawings aligned with client-specific standards is an advantage.
- Practical experience creating precast shop and production drawings for items such as wall panels, slabs, double tees, and insulated walls.
- Comfort working with both metric and imperial measurement systems.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling tools such as Revit or Tekla is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify design or detailing issues early and update the team lead in advance.
- Assess project requirements and plan work resources accordingly.
- Produce accurate, error-free deliverables with consistent quality.
- Follow the department’s established procedures and work methods.
- Support the growth of junior and intermediate team members through mentoring.
