Role overview

We are seeking an energetic Retail Service Technician for an Apple-focused store in Limerick. This full-time position offers €30,000 per year along with a performance-based bonus. The role sits within a leading Apple Premium Reseller network across the UK and Ireland and is designed for someone who is enthusiastic, service-minded, and eager to build specialist technical knowledge.

What the role involves

You will be part of a supportive and experienced team responsible for service and repair excellence in store. The position is varied, fast-moving, and suited to someone who enjoys hands-on technical work as well as customer interaction. Full training is provided, and the company expects that within 6 months you could achieve Apple Certified iPhone Technician (ACiT) accreditation.

As you grow in the role, you will take on a wide range of service tasks, from initial diagnosis to in-store repairs and day-to-day service operations. The store’s performance in service standards, customer satisfaction, and Apple metrics will be an important part of your contribution.

Key duties

• Carry out first-stage troubleshooting and identify likely device issues.
• Register customer devices for service and manage the intake process.
• Perform physical repairs on iOS devices.
• Keep stock and service-related inventory organised and up to date.
• Support customer relationships and ensure service interactions are positive.
• Help monitor and improve Apple metric performance in the store.
• Maintain the high operational and service standards expected of an Apple Premium Reseller.
• Work closely with the team to help the store operate efficiently and effectively.

Training and development

You will receive structured on-the-job training to support your success in the role. The training is intended to help you understand Apple products, service procedures, and new product developments. It will also give you early visibility into Apple product launches and initiatives.
