Description de l'emploi
About the company
Manex AI is building autonomy software for the next generation of manufacturing and helping major organizations move toward fully autonomous operations. Backed by a Seed round from Lightspeed and BlueYard, the company is growing quickly and works with leading industrial enterprises.
Role overview
In this position, you will develop software and AI-powered applications that support autonomous manufacturing. You will contribute to the company’s platform, Kosmos, and collaborate with engineers on features and solutions that are deployed directly in live production settings. The work has real-world impact and is used by major manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, BSH, Stellantis, Still, TDK Electronics, and others.
From your first week, you will be trusted with meaningful ownership over real problems. Your code will be shipped into production, and you will see how technical choices affect factory operations and business outcomes. For interns who perform well, this role is designed as a strong pathway into a permanent engineering position.
Responsibilities
- Develop software features and AI application components for real customer implementations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to debug issues, document work, and deliver solutions.
- Assist with integrating the platform into customer systems and environments.
- Convert customer needs into practical technical solutions.
- Gain exposure to how manufacturing workflows, enterprise IT systems, and AI products work together.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related subject, and is close to completing a bachelor’s program or beginning a master’s degree. Strong practical coding ability is important, especially if demonstrated through personal projects, startups, or open-source contributions.
You should have a proactive, ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to move quickly and complete tasks reliably. Experience with Python, TypeScript, and Docker is preferred. Very good English skills are expected, and German is a plus. Candidates should already be based in Munich or be willing to relocate for the internship period.
Applications are welcome even if you do not meet every requirement listed.
