About the Role

Watania Steel is looking for a meticulous and motivated accounting professional to join its Finance department in Riyadh. This position is crucial for ensuring the precision and reliability of financial operations. You will be instrumental in supporting core accounting functions and upholding robust financial controls and reporting within a fast-paced corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update accounting records, processing daily financial transactions accurately.
• Provide support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and assist in the month-end closing procedures.
• Aid in the preparation of financial reports, support audit processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Uphold company policies and adhere to established accounting standards.

Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Active SOCPA Membership is mandatory.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software, with a preference for SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and data management.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
