About the Role
Join a dynamic YouTube production team as a 2D Animator, contributing to the creation of engaging, story-driven cartoon videos. You will be responsible for producing all visual elements, including characters, backgrounds, and props, for videos ranging from 10 to 14 minutes in length. Working from provided scripts and voiceovers, your animations will closely align with narration and support compelling storytelling. The visual style must match the quality and pacing of reference videos, ensuring consistency across each project. This is a long-term opportunity with approximately 10 videos produced per month, ideal for animators passionate about visual storytelling and seeking ongoing collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations for YouTube videos based on scripts and voiceovers
- Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and props to match the required style
- Ensure visuals are synchronized with narration and enhance the storytelling experience
- Maintain consistent quality and pacing as demonstrated in provided reference videos
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and deliver multiple videos monthly
- Communicate reliably and respond promptly to feedback and project updates
Skills and Requirements
- Proficient in 2D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or similar)
- Strong portfolio showcasing cartoon animation and character design
- Ability to replicate specific animation styles and visual pacing
- Excellent attention to detail and storytelling through visuals
- Reliable communication skills and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Experience with YouTube content or similar digital platforms is a plus
- Availability for ongoing, long-term collaboration
