About Riyadh Air

Riyadh Air (RX) is Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, based in the capital and designed to help define the next generation of air travel. As a digitally driven airline serving more than 100 destinations, it aims to position the Kingdom as a major global center for aviation and trade.

Role Overview

This role sits within the Line Maintenance function at Riyadh Airport and focuses on hands-on structural support for the aircraft fleet. The position is centered on composite repair, structural inspections, and solving line maintenance issues so aircraft remain safe, dependable, and ready for service.

As a Technician II Structures, you will work directly on aircraft and act as a key point of technical support for structural condition and integrity in a busy operational setting. You will collaborate with engineers and other technicians to keep each aircraft in top airworthy condition before departure.

What You Will Be Doing

All work must be completed in line with GACA requirements, Riyadh Air internal policies, and E&M procedures.

  • Carry out structural checks and inspections on aircraft.
  • Perform composite repairs on aircraft structures.
  • Troubleshoot and close maintenance discrepancies on the line.
  • Support aircraft airworthiness through practical structural maintenance work.
  • Work closely with engineers and maintenance colleagues in an active operational environment.
  • Serve as a technical reference for structural integrity matters.
  • Follow all applicable regulatory, company, and engineering standards.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, plus solid experience in aircraft maintenance. You should bring at least 3 years of relevant aircraft maintenance exposure, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on composites and structures.

A valid aircraft maintenance licence from GACA, FAA, EASA, or another equivalent civil aviation authority is mandatory. In addition, Boeing 787 Composite Repair Certification for Technicians is required.

You should be confident working with Structural Repair Manuals and have hands-on experience inspecting and repairing composite structures on the B787. Practical ability in wet lay-up, prepreg repair methods, and hot bonder operation is also expected.

The role suits someone with strong analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and the flexibility to perform in a shift-based operational environment. Good communication, teamwork, and a willingness to coach and support others are important too. The ability to secure police security clearance for airside work is essential.
