Technical Consultant L1

Role Overview

This role is for an SAP technical consultant who will contribute specialist expertise across planning, analysis, definition, and support activities for client transformation initiatives, enhancements, advanced troubleshooting, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently contribute as the subject-matter expert within the relevant SAP technical stream across implementation, conversion, development, enhancement, or support assignments.
• Create high-level and detailed technical designs, and build integration solutions that address business needs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, workflows, and process requirements.
• Take part in technical and technology workshops to capture and deliver integration needs.
• Lead client conversations to clarify integration expectations and convert them into technical solutions.
• Support end users through training and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical specifications and testing plans for development teams to enable test-driven development.
• Plan work, manage timelines, and track project progress.
• Provide specialist assistance to multiple projects and delivery engagements whenever needed.
• Support innovation and transformation efforts within large established accounts.
• Assist with delivery execution and escalation handling.
• Coordinate with SAP and third-party partners as required.

Performance Expectations

• Maintain current knowledge of the relevant SAP technical module by strengthening existing capabilities and building new cross-functional skills.
• Meet customer satisfaction standards as defined by client service-level agreements.
• Show effectiveness in driving change, adopting new approaches when older methods are no longer effective, and moving flexibly between projects.
• Demonstrate leadership by completing work through delegation and coordination where applicable.
• Respond to customers, internal teams, and colleagues with professionalism, courtesy, and timely support.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite role based in Saudi Arabia. The position requires 5 to 8 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP.
