Saipem operates globally across engineering and construction for energy and infrastructure, supporting complex onshore and offshore projects in more than 50 countries. The company emphasizes innovation, sustainability, collaboration, and the transition toward Net Zero.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full cycle of crew mobilization and demobilization, including travel arrangements, visa coordination, and accommodation planning.
- Keep personnel records and tracking tools up to date, ensuring information remains accurate and compliant with requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams such as HR, Logistics, and Operations, and coordinate with outside partners including travel agencies and immigration offices.
- Support timely rotation of crew members in accordance with operational schedules and project needs.
- Track compliance with internal policies, client expectations, and applicable international rules and procedures.
What the Role Requires
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a similar discipline.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in a position such as Technical Clerk, Crew Officer, or Logistics Assistant, with this experience being essential in offshore oil and gas, maritime, or construction settings.
- Strong English communication skills, which are mandatory.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Hands-on familiarity with crew management or HR platforms such as SAP, crew planning software, or 3VM.
- Working knowledge of visa handling, immigration steps, and offshore certification requirements.
- Excellent organization, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
Work Conditions and Additional Information
This position is based in Doha, Qatar. It is a permanent, project-based role and requires onsite work. Some travel may be required across the Middle East and to offshore locations depending on operational requirements.
The role involves a 45-hour workweek, structured as 9 hours per day across 5 days, and availability is expected 24/7 due to the nature of offshore operations.
Saipem offers a comprehensive corporate benefits package. The company also highlights its One Saipem Way approach, which supports skill development, career progression, innovation, communication, and collaboration.
