Role Overview
The Supply Chain Associate will own day-to-day supply chain execution end to end, including inventory placement, freight coordination, vendor and partner management, and ongoing process improvement. The role works closely with the VP of Operations & E-Commerce and requires a person who is equally comfortable analyzing data and managing operational details.
The right candidate will be proactive, independent, and able to spot risks before they become problems. This role is best suited to someone who can juggle several priorities across vendors, platforms, and cross-functional partners while contributing to a lean, fast-moving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage inventory distribution between offsite storage and third-party logistics partners, ensuring stock is positioned effectively and lot tracking remains accurate by sales channel.
- Review weekly performance trends, use forecasting data to recommend actions, and help keep inventory aligned with demand while reducing supply risk.
- Create and oversee purchase orders, monitor open orders, maintain required records, and resolve potential supply chain issues early.
- Arrange freight with co-manufacturers and brokers, while maintaining documents such as BOLs, packing slips, and ASNs.
- Handle label sourcing and label change coordination with internal stakeholders and co-manufacturers so production timelines stay on track.
- Manage third-party fulfillment vendors to ensure compliance with SLAs and SOPs, and share information proactively so fulfillment runs smoothly.
- Improve reporting, customer analytics, and workflow efficiency by using data insights and AI-enabled automation where appropriate.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in supply planning and/or inventory planning.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability, including advanced Excel skills and comfort working with multiple systems and datasets.
- Ability to turn raw data into practical recommendations and operational insight.
- Resourcefulness with new tools and systems; EDI experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and implement better workflows, tools, or automation.
- Solid project management skills, including timeline tracking, blocker management, and accountability across teams.
- Experience working with external vendors, setting expectations, and ensuring quality and timing standards are met.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy across multiple priorities.
- Ownership-driven, self-directed, and comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with others.
Working Conditions
- This position is fully remote.
- Travel may be required 1 to 2 times per year for team gatherings or events.
Benefits
- Generous paid time off policy.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Flexible working hours designed to support working families.
- 16 weeks of paid family leave.
- Monthly wellness stipend.
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution.
Compensation
