Role overview
Cargill is hiring a strategic and detail-oriented Pricing Manager for the Food SEA & ANZ region. The role focuses on improving revenue and profitability by leading pricing and margin management for the cocoa and chocolate business. You will assess market movements, competitor prices, and internal cost structures to shape and execute pricing approaches across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Build pricing frameworks that support profitability targets and demand conditions, including long-term pricing agreements with key customers.
- Review sales performance, market patterns, and customer price sensitivity to identify when pricing should be adjusted.
- Partner closely with sales, product, and operations teams so pricing decisions support wider business goals.
- Keep pricing systems and databases updated, accurate, and consistent.
- Prepare leadership updates covering pricing outcomes, margin changes, and revenue growth.
- Take on additional related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in banking, pricing, financial analysis, or revenue management.
- Comfort working with large datasets, statistical techniques, and financial models.
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level.
- Well-developed negotiation and communication skills for influencing stakeholders.
- Commercial judgment, market awareness, strong attention to detail, accuracy, and strategic thinking.
