Sales Estimator

Role overview

Metricon is expanding its estimating function and is looking for a Sales Estimator to join a lively, high-performing team based at the modern Robina office in Queensland. The position reports to the Sales Estimator Team Leader and plays a key role in preparing accurate tender and variation pricing for residential building work.

Key responsibilities

• Build and price sales tenders for contract documents, including site costs, statutory and regulatory items, and design changes aligned with Metricon’s design and construction standards.
• Prepare and cost post-contract variations accurately.
• Carry out detailed quality reviews to ensure all documents are clear, precise, and of a high standard.
• Use company checklists and processes to make sure all required information is captured at each stage.
• Adjust sales estimates carefully to meet the needs of customers, councils/developers, engineers, surveyors, and Metricon Homes.
• Work closely with internal teams across Sales, Operations, Retail Systems, Construction, Drafting, Product Development, and Purchasing.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will bring solid experience in Australian residential construction estimating, a strong grasp of compliance requirements, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A positive attitude and strong attention to detail are essential.
