Quality Officer

Role overview

Britannia Industries Limited is looking for a Quality Officer to support and strengthen quality assurance operations at its Ramanagara, Karnataka location. The role focuses on maintaining product and process quality, ensuring adherence to required standards, and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and sustain quality assurance practices and procedures aligned with applicable industry requirements.
• Carry out periodic audits to confirm compliance with HACCP, GMP, and related quality benchmarks.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and share suggestions that can improve overall quality outcomes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct training sessions to help employees understand quality systems, protocols, and best practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or another relevant discipline.
• Hands-on experience with HACCP implementation and monitoring, GMP, RCA, or similar quality management systems.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Additional certification such as Certified Quality Auditor will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotational schedule.
