Role Overview

This Project Manager role is focused on coordinating project execution in a deadline-driven environment. The position requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting clients, consultants, architects, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle several projects at once and adapt quickly when deadlines or priorities shift.
• Build project plans, adjust them as client needs change, and keep work aligned with expectations.
• Use established methods consistently and make sure project standards are followed.
• Oversee daily project operations, including scopes, deliverables, and financial tracking.
• Communicate coordination updates and management rationale in a clear, concise way.
• Review work quality, prepare checks, and support quality assurance processes.
• Keep project files complete, up to date, properly formatted, and well organized.
• Track consulting team time and expenses on a weekly basis.
• Reduce project exposure and risk through careful oversight.
• Clarify project scope and coordinate with teams and clients when work goes beyond scope.
• Lead and coordinate consulting architects and engineers on real estate due diligence assessment studies.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate site visits.
• Work with stakeholders on space verification and programming needs.
• Review consultant deliverables before they are shared with clients.
• Run and manage client meetings effectively.
• Prepare meeting notes and convert them into accurate and useful minutes.
• Support cross-selling across CSA disciplines and help develop task assignments under on-call contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience in project work within architecture, engineering, or project management.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of design and drafting coordination experience on corporate, commercial, and industrial projects in the New York region.
• Prior experience with PANYNJ projects is preferred.
• Strong space programming and analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical understanding and a high level of attention to detail.
• Comfort with numbers and a careful, accuracy-focused working style.
• Proactive attitude with initiative and a willingness to solve problems independently.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and teams.
• Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow through feedback.
• Strong systems thinking and an integrated approach to projects.
