Job summary

Holiday Lanes is seeking a dependable Porter to help keep the facility clean, safe, and presentable. This role involves routine custodial work along with light upkeep tasks. The right person will be physically capable, detail-focused, comfortable using cleaning tools and supplies, and committed to maintaining a well-kept environment.

What you'll do

• Keep the building clean and safe throughout the day.
• Carry out daily housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and removing trash.
• Handle periodic duties like washing windows, shampooing carpets, changing bulbs, restocking restrooms, and completing minor repairs.
• Clean up spills and other safety concerns using appropriate tools such as sponges and squeegees.
• Lock up the facility after cleaning is finished.
• Document cleaned areas and inform management when larger repairs are needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Minimum of 1 year working in janitorial or similar cleaning services.
• A valid driver’s license or dependable transportation to and from the site.
• Hands-on familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
• Strong physical stamina and overall fitness for active work.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and careful attention to detail.
