Role Overview
Aptive Environmental is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician to work on the road in the Athens, GA area. This is a hands-on field role for someone who is dependable, detail-focused, inventive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The position is based near Athens, GA, with one weekly report-in to the Atlanta office.
Pay and Incentives
- Hourly pay ranges from $17.25 to $21.25.

Key Duties
- Drive a daily service route to address customer pest issues.
- Inspect, maintain, and keep the truck and equipment in good working condition.
- Document all treatments accurately.
- Prepare and apply pesticides in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Act as the pest-control expert for customers by recommending the most effective solution for their needs.
- Provide service to all route customers according to company standards.
- Inform customers about possible issues or future concerns.
- Keep supervisors updated on any route-related problems.
- Track and maintain correct pesticide inventory.
- Carry a backpack product load of about 50 lbs.
- Work on an every-other-Saturday schedule.
- Be assigned a route in your local area.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is required; training will be provided.
- A valid U.S. driver’s license held for at least 3 years is mandatory.
- A clean driving history is required: no more than one moving violation in the last year and no more than two in the last 4 years.
- All new hires must pass a drug screening and background check.
