Role Overview
The People Data Analyst will join the HR organization as a highly analytical and mission-focused partner. The role centers on using workforce data to shape important people decisions, strengthen the employee experience, and improve overall organizational performance.
You will function as both an analytics specialist and a strategic advisor, partnering with People, Finance, and business leaders to turn complex workforce information into practical recommendations. This opportunity is well suited to someone who performs well in fast-moving environments and wants to influence how a growing organization scales.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will include creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models that bring clarity to core people metrics such as headcount, attrition, engagement, performance, and DEI.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong data quality across HR systems, while also designing scalable pipelines and repeatable reporting structures.
The role requires analyzing workforce trends to identify risks, patterns, and opportunities, as well as supporting leadership decisions related to hiring, retention, and organizational structure.
You will also convert open-ended business questions into structured analyses with clear conclusions, assess the impact of people programs such as performance reviews, engagement efforts, and learning and development, and work with HRIS and engineering teams to improve data design and accessibility. In addition, you will help automate manual reporting and define strong standards for documentation and data governance.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have 3 to 6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or people analytics.
Strong SQL capability and hands-on experience with large datasets are required, along with practical use of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
You should also be comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets for analysis and modeling, and be able to communicate technical findings clearly to audiences without a technical background.
Preferred Background
Experience in People Analytics, HR, or other organizational data environments is preferred.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever is an advantage, as is experience using Python or R for more advanced analysis.
Knowledge of statistics, experimentation, and forecasting methods will be helpful, and prior exposure to high-growth or highly operational organizations is also valued.
Benefits and Perks
Medical, dental, and vision coverage are fully paid by the company.
Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match on contributions up to 6% of pay, plus FSA, HSA, life insurance, and other offerings.
Employees also receive free daily lunch, no meeting Fridays, unlimited PTO, and a casual dress code.
Other compensation elements include competitive base pay, generous pre-IPO stock option grants, relocation support, and annual bonuses that are planned for future rollout.
The team currently includes 250 employees across 5 global offices.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is estimated at $150,000 to $200,000 per year. This figure reflects base compensation only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Final pay may differ depending on experience, education or training, critical skills, and broader business needs.
Additional Information
Recruiting agencies should not submit unsolicited resumes or outreach, as such submissions will not be reviewed or paid for.
