Job overview
This position is for an experienced payroll professional who can manage payroll operations for a large blue-collar workforce with a high level of accuracy. The role requires practical experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll, along with a solid grasp of labor rules, attendance tracking, and payroll handling at scale.
What you will do
- Run the full monthly payroll cycle for a large blue-collar employee base while maintaining accuracy and adherence to company rules.
- Work in Oracle Fusion HCM/Payroll to process payroll, manage employee data, and prepare reports.
- Handle payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, allowances, and final settlement calculations.
- Cross-check and align payroll information from time and attendance systems.
- Ensure salary payments are completed on time and in line with WPS requirements, where applicable.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues promptly.
- Keep payroll records updated and protect the confidentiality of employee data.
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and site teams to collect payroll information and secure approvals.
- Assist audit activities by preparing payroll reports and supporting documents.
- Maintain compliance with local labor legislation, payroll rules, and internal policies.
- Process end-of-service benefits, leave encashment, and off-cycle payroll runs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 4 and 7 years of payroll experience, especially with blue-collar payroll operations.
- Practical, mandatory experience using Oracle Fusion Payroll.
- Background in managing payroll for high employee volumes.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE labor law, WPS, and payroll compliance practices.
- Good command of Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Well-developed communication and problem-solving abilities.
