Role Overview
The Operations Planning Designer will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and will help build event operations plans, client-ready presentations, technical drawings, and planning documents. The role requires someone who can take raw operational details and turn them into clear, polished, and professional materials for clients, internal stakeholders, and onsite execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine event operations plans for client use, internal coordination, and field operations teams.
- Design clean, professional documents, presentations, site layouts, maps, and operational reports.
- Produce and revise site layouts, parking arrangements, access and transport routes, operational zones, crowd movement paths, and event maps using AutoCAD.
- Improve the presentation quality of plans, reports, maps, and client-facing material using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Convert rough operational inputs, site details, and team requirements into well-structured planning deliverables.
- Work closely with operations, traffic, parking, transportation, security, crowd management, logistics, and client communication teams.
- Assist the PMO team with client presentations, proposals, operational plans, and post-event reporting.
- Ensure documents follow consistent formatting, branding, templates, legends, icons, and visual guidelines.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Event Management, Design, or a similar discipline is required.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for creating layouts, site plans, operational areas, access routes, parking plans, and event maps.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Good command of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to convert operational inputs into clear, polished, and presentation-ready documents.
- Strong visual communication ability with careful attention to formatting, brand consistency, and document quality.
- Capability to interpret maps, layouts, technical drawings, and site information.
- Good English communication skills.
- Prior exposure to events, operations planning, technical drafting, engineering, or design is an advantage.
